Fusion Man

Meet Yves Rossy. Aged 49, and an experienced aviator. Formerly a fighter pilot of Swiss Air Force, and currently a pilot of Swiss International Airlines, Yves is also an aviation enthusiast and inventor. A.K.A Fusion Man, Yves has taken human flight to another level.



Yes, that contraption you see is a pair of carbon fiber wings, hooked up with 4 JetCat jet engines. These engines are a larger version of the ones used in model RC planes.

His Channel crossing was 22 miles in less than 10 minutes.

This man has what I call the "Right Stuff". Why? Cause this man was crazy enough to use it and cross the English Channel. Jumping off a plane over Calais, France and landing via parachute in Dover, England, this powered flight took place yesterday on the 28th of September 2008.

Although Yves and his team have been working and operating this winged jet-pack since its first successful flight in 2004, crossing the Channel is truly an amazing feat.


For having balls of steel, a maniacal amount of guts, and for having a serious level of commitment, you have the "Right Stuff" Yves.

Raya Blues

I am anxious to drive back to Perak. Raya is just days away now I think.
Cant wait for all the lemangs, kuah kacangs, rendangs, and *droooooools* raya cookies...
haha...

Uni has been quite busy for me lately. Already its week 8 now. This week alone i hv 3 submissions to fulfill. 2 essays, and 1 video assignment. Also, 2 exams =(
Mid terms ='(
New Economy Communications, and Malaysian Studies (arrrggghhh!)...

Ramadhan on the other hand has helped though. I've been smoking really less these past 2 weeks plus. I dont feel the urge or temptation to smoke as bad as I did last year (sigh!)... But it is quite tough on you when working.

For the past 5 days, i've been with emiko72 and Ragazza all around uni, filming our mini doc. I swear to god, that damned Manfrotto tripod could not get any heavier. But don't get me wrong. Filming is such fun!...hahahaahahahahahahahaahahaha =D

Something altogether different from my personal favorite producer/rapper, Kanye West.
Very deep lyrics, no rap verses. Extensive use of Auto-Tune for vocals.
Simple arrangement of beats, piano, and percussion.
Not your everyday upbeat Kanye tune, but its deep.
If you love Kanye West's works, you're bound to appreciate this.

i feel awkward, yet relieved. just got off the phone with Miss L and....
our conversation was quite deep bout a lot of things.
i feel weird, but at the same time, i feel as if some one just took some weight off my chest.
maybe its just me....i've not had such a conversation in a very long time.
